Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to support the overall management and operations of the Food & Beverage division for a luxury hotel and resort property in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining luxury service standards, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the Director of Food & Beverage in achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, banquets, and in-room dining.
  • Support the Director of Food & Beverage in implementing service standards and operational policies.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through quality service delivery and attention to detail.
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and support revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, performance management, and team development.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate with culinary and operational teams to maintain consistency and quality across outlets.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage or in a similar role within luxury hotels or resorts in the GCC.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or assistant director role is preferred.
  • Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, and banquet management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within the luxury hotel industry in the GCC is preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and costs.
