Accountant (General)

Seeking a skilled accounting professional to manage daily financial operations, payroll, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting, with experience in multi-currency transactions and financial controls. Professional certifications and trading industry experience are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and reconciliations
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of financial information
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of accounting and payroll practices, compliance, and reporting
• Proficient in accounting and payroll software, as well as Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of tax laws, labor regulations, and audit processes
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications & Qualities:
 • Experience in trading, multi-currency transactions, and intercompany accounting
 • Skills in managing cash flow, budgeting, fixed assets, and improving financial controls
 • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or payroll-related credentials
 • Strong analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and reporting skills
 • Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
