Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join a well-established organization based in Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive financial analysis, preparing accurate financial statements, managing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and financial regulations. The role also involves close collaboration with internal departments to enhance financial processes and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards
• Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Ensure accurate and timely VAT reporting and compliance with Saudi financial regulations
• Monitor banking facilities, transactions, and reconciliations
• Support internal audits and external audit preparation
• Collaborate with other departments to improve accounting processes and workflow efficiency
• Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Utilize accounting software (such as Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data management

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8–10 years of relevant experience as an Accountant, preferably in Saudi Arabia
• Strong knowledge of VAT and local banking procedures
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an added advantage
• Must possess a valid Saudi driving license
