Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to manage a designated section of the kitchen and ensure the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will support daily kitchen operations while maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.

• Manage and supervise Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff within the assigned section.

• Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency during service.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the work area.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and requisitions.

• Minimize food wastage and support cost-control initiatives.

• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist in training and developing junior team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment.

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.

• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels.

• Multi-cuisine experience is an advantage.
